A few weeks ago this was the view from our back patio. Two nights in a row. Avery looked at me and said "isn't if beautiful mom!? It looks like fire in the sky." I said "It sure is, isn't God good!?" He agreed :)

...In full swing.
At the ball field; Avery and Tate are in Elk Mound T-ball again this year. Every Wednesday night we head out for their "big game". Their skills are improving along with their love for this timeless sport.
...At the Cabin.
Little Larson Lake in Siren, Wisconsin is where we spend every July 4th. Grandpa and Grandma Anderson have a cabin there and we bring up the motor home to enjoy a little piece of time in the north woods with our family. Fishing, swimming, boating, the parade, fireworks, campfires and good food are some of the highlights of the long weekend spent. The memories we make there, I am certain our boys will carry with them their whole life long. Blessed are we.

...On the water.
This summer we are the proud owners of a deck boat. Ashley fully restored an "old boat" this spring. Leave it to my race car driving husband to sell our big 'family cruser' pontoon for something a little lot faster. He also decided to make it his 'signature color' which I thought was quite fitting; for those of you who don't know Ashley, he has had a yellow race car for 20 years; when I met him, he had a yellow race trailer and a yellow lab and a yellow pick up truck; now, a yellow boat. Thankfully I had the final say on the siding when we built our house a few years ago; do you see where I am going with this...but by the looks of our blog I think he is rubbing off on me. I might have married into this yellow fetish!? Well, you get the picture. "Livin' the dream" is phrase we live by in the Anderson house, we remind each other often, especially when life is really hectic :) We enjoy taking the boat out every chance we get.

These are just a few of our many annuals and perennials blossoming; filling the air with the sweet smells of summer.

...At the Park.
Last Thursday we took a trip to Irvine Park in Chippewa. We met Grandma Vicky, Aunt Carmen, Knox, Lizzie, Vanessa, Maggie and Caleb. It was quite the cold rainy day; we enjoyed ourselves despite the weather. We played, ate lunch and took in the many sights and sounds of the "animals". We will visit again real soon.
